We've Been Asked To Do It Again!!

2012 Art Tour

Capture the essence of Hawaii through art and culture journaling. With your sketch book in hand, chronicle your colorful experiences drawing and painting memories of your visit on O'ahu.

You'll tour historical sites, engage with interesting people, and visit scenic landscapes.

Art students will visit venues with guided tours and participate in on-location art and culture instructional classes. Each student will receive an Art and Culture Handbook that will be filled with lesson handouts that complement the venues, as well as the Hawaiian lifestyle.

Sam Kapu III

Music on this page is performed by Hawaii's favorite musician Sam Kapu III, who is a fourth generation of Hawaiian musicians. The song LEPE 'ULA 'ULA is from his SK3 Lineage album. It is a tribute to his grandfather, Jesse Kalima Sr.

His first album “Sam Kapu III,” released on Bluewater Records, gained notoriety when it was nominated for two Na Hoku Hanohano Awards in 1994. Kapu’s latest CD “Lineage,” which pays homage to his very talented family, was nominated for “Best Hawaiian Album of the Year” at the 2003 Hawaii music awards.

Mahalo Sam for gracing our Hawaii Tours Page with your melodic voice.

Old Tour News

August 2009

I recently returned from O'ahu, and I am very excited to share some new venue details.

~ I attended an Ukulele Workshop. I loved it! View more photos below on "Latest Workshops". Our fun instructor is looking forward to conducting our workshop for the 2010 Oahu Art and Culture tour for ages 18 to 23 years old.

I also visited a small island full of history. The shuttle boat ride to the island was breath taking.

The 2010 tours will be unforgettable!
